February Planning and Zoning
February 18, 2019 – Planning & Zoning Committee Meeting Minutes
Those Present: Jordan Rasmusson, Suzann Parrish, Eric Christopherson and Mary Nate.
Meeting called to order: 7:00 pm
The committee reviewed portions of Ordinance # 27. Options of lot sizes were discussed; ½ acre, 1/3 acre, square footage, or percentage of building size to lot size. The committee discussed the relevance of having two residential zones versus just one. Development issues were discussed and the impact they would have on the infrastructure of the City. The next meeting was scheduled for 18 March 2019 at 7:00pm at City Hall. Members of the committee were asked to review Ordinance # 27 and highlight parts that they felt still pertained to the community. They were also asked to research ordinances from other areas and bring with them their ideas to be written in the new ordinance.
Meeting was adjourned around 8:30 pm.
