February Minutes Special Meeting

Those Present: DeLoy Kunz, Greg Kunz, Marty Nate, Tee Steadman, Mayor Steve Waechtler, Maintenance Supervisor Shane Clark, Alan Howell, City Clerk Lynette Smith, City Attorney Adam McKenzie by phone
Meeting called to order: 11:00 am
The Council entertained a motion from councilmember DeLoy Kunz to approve the published agenda and was seconded by councilmember Tee Steadman. All were in favor and the motion carried the council.
Ordinance #103 – amending Ordinance #58 to prohibit the deposit or placement of snow by private persons or entities on City Property, was read by the Mayor. Councilmember Marty Nate made the motion to dispense the three readings on separate occasions rule and was seconded by councilmember Greg Kunz. A roll call vote was taken and is as follows: DeLoy – yes, Greg – yes, Marty – yes, Tee – yes. Motion carries. Councilmember Marty Nate made the motion to approve Ordinance #103 and councilmember Greg Kunz seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken and is as follows: DeLoy – yes, Greg – yes, Marty – yes, Tee – yes. Motion carries.
Ordinance #104 – water revenue bond was presented to the Council and read by the Mayor. Councilmember Tee Steadman made the motion to dispense the three readings on separate occasions rule and was seconded by councilmember Greg Kunz. A roll call vote was taken and is as follows: DeLoy – yes, Greg – yes, Marty – yes, Tee – yes. Motion carries. Councilmember Greg Kunz made the motion to accept Ordinance #104 and to adopt the summary to be published in the paper and was seconded by councilmember Marty Nate. A roll call vote was taken and is as follows: DeLoy – yes, Greg – yes, Marty – yes, Tee – yes. Motion carries.
Once Attorney Stephanie Bonney has all of the closing documents ready, she will send to the City Hall and the Mayor will sign all pages with Lynette attesting. Lynette will get these Ordinances scanned and emailed to Adam so he can send on to be published in the News-Examiner.
The chair entertained a motion from Councilmember DeLoy Kunz that council adjourns from the Special Meeting at 11:15 am. Councilmember Tee Steadman seconded the motion. All were in favor and the motion carried the council.
