RESOLUTION #2021-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN ESTABLISHING A FEE FOR TEMPORARY USE PERMITS ISSUED TO PROPERTY OWNERS WHO HAVE MADE APPLICATION TO LIVE IN NON-CONFORMING MANUFACTURED/MOBILE/MODULAR/RV/OR CAMP TRAILERS WHILE CONSTRUCTING A PERMANENT RESIDENCE AS APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF GEORGETOWN:
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Georgetown did pass and approve a fee for temporary use permits as permitted by Ordinance #70 and Ordinance #100. Said permit was approved during a public hearing at City Council meeting held on 4 May 2021.
Whereas, motion was made and unanimously approved by the council to designate a fee of $500.00 for the temporary use permit as permitted by Ordinance #70 and Ordinance #100.
Whereas, said permit will allow property owners to reside in a non-conforming manufactured/mobile/modular/RV or camp trailer for the period of six (6) months while building a permanent residence.
Whereas, if said property owner needs more time to finish construction, upon requesting more time the City Council will require an additional fee amount in the amount of $500.00 for each additional six (6) month period of time.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Idaho the approved fee schedule for a temporary use permit as permitted by Ordinance #70 and Ordinance #100 is $500.00 for while building a permanent residence; as additional time is needed an additional fee of $500.00 for each additional period of time will be enacted. Said fee schedules shall become effective 4 May 2021 as per approval of City Council at their May 2021 council meeting.
