RESOLUTION #2006-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, IDAHO SETTING FORTH THE MANNER IN WHICH BUILDING PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED, FEES COLLECTED, AND MEASUREMENTS DEFINED, ALONG WITH THE PROCEDURE DIRECTLY RELATING TO THE CITY COUNCIL’S APPROVAL OF SAID PERMITS.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and City Council unanimously hereby pass a resolution setting forth the manner in which building permits will be issued, fees collected, and measurements defined, along with the procedure directly relating to the City Council’s approval of said permits. The City Clerk will henceforth issue building permits to those citizens wishing to build new structures or attachments to existing structures, and or anything as it relates to Ordinance #27 known as the zoning ordinance for the City of Georgetown. All boundaries and setbacks relating to said building permits will be measured and defined by the maintenance employee for the City of Georgetown. All building permits are required to be presented to the council as a whole at the monthly council meeting. Said permits should be presented by those wishing to build or make structural changes as it relates to Ordinance #27. Approval of said building permits will be discussed and approved by the Council Members. A single Council Member does not have the authority to give approval of any building permit. Fees for all building permits will be deposited at the City Hall with the City Clerk. Construction can begin when approval is granted and fees are collected.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR of the City of Georgetown, Idaho, this 4th day of April 2006.
