RESOLUTION No. 2012-002

A RESOLUTION INCREASING THE MONTHLY RATES TO BE CHARGED BY THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN FOR SEWER CONNECTIONS; PROVIDING FOR RECISSION AND REPEAL OF ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, Bear Lake County, Idaho, desires to provide such services to the residents of the City of Georgetown;

WHEREAS, the City Ordinances and Code of the City of Georgetown provides that various fees be established by resolution of the Council and posted in the Clerk’s office and may be amended from time to time by resolution; and

WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the rates being established are necessary to provide ongoing services for the citizens and residents of Georgeotwn;

WHEREAS, a public hearing for the rate increase was held March 6, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at the City prednisone buy Hall in Georgetown to review comment on the proposed rate increase;

NOW THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Georgetown, Bear Lake County, Idaho, as follows:

Section 1.
The fee for sewer connections will raise $35.00 from the current $25.00, to a total of $60.00 per month.

Section 2.
That a copy of this Resolution shall be posted in the Clerk’s Office and subject to examination by any interested party.

Section 3.
That Resolution 003-008 and all resolutions heretofore adopted, which are in conflict herewith, are hereby rescinded and appealed.

Section 4.
This resolution shall be in full force and shall take effect as of the 1st day of August, 2012, and continue until repealed.

PASSED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and the City Council this 3rd day of April, 2012.
