Resolution #2005-1: Rights of Way For Great Western National Recreation Trail
RESOLUTION # 2005-1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, IDAHO APPROVING RIGHTS-OF-WAY ON DESIGNATED CITY STREETS AND TRAILS FOR A PERIOD OF TEN (10 ) YEARS AND CONSENT TO SAID CITY STREETS AND TRAILS BEING DESIGNATED AS PART OF THE GREAT WESTERN NATIONAL RECREATION TRAIL.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and City Council, hereby, consent to designating certain City streets and roads as part of the Great Western National Recreation Trail and certify that rights-of-way on said City streets and trails will continue for at least the next ten (10) years. The Mayor and City Council, hereby make it known, that giving consent does not transfer any interest in the City rights-of-way and users will be subject to appropriate State of Idaho, Bear Lake County and Georgetown town travel mode restrictions, regulations, and laws applicable to these roads. The following streets and roads are hereby designated:
1. 4th Street from the west City limits to 100 East
2. 100 East from 4th Street to the abandoned rail road grade
3. The abandoned rail road grade from 100 East to the Georgetown Canyon Road
