Resolution #1982-1: Comprehensive Plan
RESOLUTION # 1982-1
ADOPTION OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, IDAHO
WHEREAS, the “Local Planning Act of 1975” Title 67 of the IDAHO CODE requires cities to adopt a comprehensive plan,
WHEREAS, said comprehensive plan shall be the basis for land use ordinances, policy decisions, and determinations of the area of city impact, and
WHEREAS, the City of Georgetown has compiled with the provisions of the Local Planning Act:
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of Georgetown does hereby adopt the GEORGETOWN COMPREHENSIVE PLAN and,
FURTHER, specify the city’s plan to be the following:
1. All goals and objectives as indicated in the “Community Goals and Objectives” portion of this document;
2. All recommendations viagragen.com presented in the “Future Plan” portion of this document; as ammended during Public Hearing May 6, 1982
3. The general process used in the Natural Resource Inventory and Land Use Constraints sections of the Plan;
AND FURTHER, specify that all supporting information included in and led to the development of the GEORGETOWN COMPREHENSIVE PLAN is the best available at this time, but said information is not to be considered nor adopted as the comprehensive plan and shall be updated as appropriate.
