Ordinance #91: Repeal Ordinance #13
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF IDAHO, REPEALING ORDINANCE #13, WHICH PROVIDED REQUIREMENT THAT EACH ABLE-BODIED MAN IN GEORGETOWN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 21 AND 50 YEARS, BE REQUIRED TO DO TWO DAYS ON THE STREETS AND ALLEYS BETWEEN APRIL 1 AND SEPTEMBER 1 ANNUALLY. THIS ORDINANCE TO BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE, APPROVAL, AND PUBLICATION ACCORDING TO LAW, THE RULE REQUIRING THAT AN ORDINANCE BE READ ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS HAVING BEEN DISPENSED WITH.
WHEREAS, Ordinance #13 contains provisions which are out of date;
Section 1: The City Council of the City of Georgetown at the October 2016 City Council meeting did unanimously vote to repeal Ordinance #13 in its entirety.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication according to law.
Section 3: One half (½) plus one (1) of the members of the full council agree to dispense with the rule requiring the reading of this ordinance on three (3) separate occasions.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Mayor and the City Council of the City of Georgetown, Bear Lake County, Idaho, this 4th day of October 2016.
