AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2009, APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $248,570.00 TO DEFRAY THE EXPENSE AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN FOR SAID FISCAL YEAR, AUTHORIZING A LEVY OF A SUFFICIENT TAX UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY AND SPECIFYING THE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES FOR WHICH SAID APPROPRIATION IS MADE.
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Georgetown, Bear Lake County, Idaho.
Section 1:That the sum of $248,570.00 be the same as appropriated to defray the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of Georgetown, Bear Lake County, Idaho for the fiscal year beginning October, 1, 2009.
Section 2:The objects and purposes for which such appropriation is made, and the amount of each object and purpose is as follows:

GENERAL FUND
Administration $31,672.00
Public Safety $19,820.00
Streets $31,895.00
Parks/Cemetery $17,690.00
TOTAL GENERAL FUND $101,077.00
WATER FUND $83,628.00
SEWER FUND $63,865.00
TOTAL EXPENSE ALL FUNDS $248,570.00
Section 3: That a general tax levy on all taxable property within the City of Georgetown be levied in an amount allowed by law for the general purposes for said City, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2009.
Section 4: All ordinance and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 5: The ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its passage, approval and publication in one issue of the NEWS EXAMINER, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Georgetown, and the official newspaper of said City.
PASSES under suspension of rules upon which a roll call vote was taken and duly enacted an Ordinance of the City of Georgetown, Bear Lake County, Idaho at a convened meeting of the City of Georgetown City Council held on the 15th day of September 2009.
