ORDINANCE #59
AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE WEIGHT LIMIT ON STRINGTOWN ROAD AND ALL OTHER STREETS EAST OF HIGHWAY 30, WITHIN THE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, IDAHO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF GEORGETOWN, IDAHO:
SECTION I
Weight limits for motor vehicles of any kind on the streets east of Highway 30, within the City limits of the City of Georgetown shall be as follows:
Weight limits of 60,000 GVW
Exceptions to this ordinance may be made by obtaining written pemission in advance from the Mayor, or the President of the Council, in his absence, for trucks contracted by the City for City maintanance or other City purposes. The fee for such pemits will be set at $25.00.
SECTION II
Any owner or operator in violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $250.00 per occurance with a minimum tadalafilhome.com fine of $150.00.
(A) Any person operating a vehicle in violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $250.00 per occurance with a minimum fine of $150.00.
(B) Any owner knowingly allowing the operation of his or her vehicle in violation of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $250.00 per occurance with a minimum fine of $150.00.
SECTION III
The Council has the right to review, at any time, the conditions, and if they warrant, either raise or lower the GVW.
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE UPON ITS PASSAGE, APPROVAL AND PUBLICATION, ACCORDING TO LAW.
