ORDINANCE #17
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE RATE OF TAXATION IN AND FOR THE VILLAGE OF GEORGETOWN, IDAHO, FOR THE YEAR 1915.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Georgetown, County of Bear Lake, State of Idaho:–
SECTION I
That the rate of taxation upon property within and for the Village of Georgetown in County of Bear Lake and State of Idaho for the year 1915 be and the same is hereby fixed as follows, to-wit:
For general and extraordinary expenditures – – – – -2 mills on the dollar.
For contingent expenditures – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – 1 mill on the dollar.
For upkeep of cemetery- – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – 2 mills on the dollar.
Total- – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – 5 mills on the dollar.
Which said 5 mills on the dollar is hereby assessed against all taxable property within the said Village of Georgetown as assessed by the County Assessor of Bear Lake County, State of Idaho, in which said property is located and situated, which said taxes shall be assessed and collected as by the Statutes of Idaho in such cases made and provided.
SECTION II
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage, approval and publication.
