Grants Intermountain Gas Company a 20-year extension of its franchise to construct, maintain, and operate a gas transmission and distribution system within the City of Georgetown, using City streets, alleys, and public places.
In exchange, the company pays the City three percent (3%) of gross receipts from gas sales within city limits, paid quarterly, with a written report filed 30 days after each calendar quarter. The ordinance also covers insurance requirements, indemnification, street restoration, right of inspection, and the terms for renewal or surrender of the franchise.
