RESOLUTION 2007-5

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, IDAHO APPROVING THE DEPOSITING OF CREMATION REMAINS ON TOP OF OTHER BURIAL REMAINS PROVIDING NO OTHER BURIAL SPACE IS DIRECTLY CONNECTED FOR FAMILY PURCHASE; PROVIDING PLACEMENT OF A SECOND HEADSTONE; PROVIDING HEADSTONE BE FLAT TO GROUND FOR MAINTENANCE PURPOSES AS APPROVED BY THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN AS FOLLOWS:

The Mayor and City Council unanimously hereby pass a resolution stating cremation remains of family members may be deposited on top of burial remains of same family members provided there are no other burial spaces immediately available to the same family burial plots. A second headstone may be placed in the middle of the grave site and is required to be flat to the ground or existing headstone may be replaced with one containing both names of remains buried in burial plot.

PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR of the City of Georgetown, Idaho this 5th day of June, 2007.
