ORDINANCE #37

AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE MONTPELIER NEWS-EXAMINER OF MONTPELIER, IDAHO, AS THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, COUNTY OF BEAR LAKE, STATE OF IDAHO.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GEORGETOWN, COUNTY OF BEAR LAKE, STATE OF IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I: That the Montpelier News-Examiner, a newspaper published within the City of Montpelier, County of Bear Lake, State of Idaho, and a newspaper of general circulation within the County of Bear Lake, Idaho, is hereby designated as the official newspaper of the City of Georgetown, County of Bear Lake, State of Idaho.

SECTION II: All by-laws, resolutions, and ordinances in conflict with this ordinance, are hereby repealed.

SECTION III: This ordinance shall be published after adoption in at least one issue of the Montpelier News-Examiner,  Montpelier, Idaho, that being the official newspaper of the City of Georgetown.

SECTION VI: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.

PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Georgetown, Idaho this 26th day of May 1977.
