ORDINANCE #26

AN ORDINANCE FOR THE LEVYING OF TAXES ON ALL THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF GEORGETOWN, IDAHO, FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING REVENUE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING MAY 1, 1956.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Chairman and Village Board of Georgetown, Idaho:

SECTION I

The tax levy on all the taxable property within the Village of Georgetown, Idaho, for the fiscal year ending April 30, 1957, and the same is hereby fixed as follows:

Tax Levy for General Purposes 14 mills on the dollar.
Tax Levy for Cemetery Maintenance 2 mills on the dollar.

Total        16 mills

SECTION II

That said taxes shall be payable at the time and in the manner provided by the Statutes of the State of Idaho and that the Clerk certify the same to the County Auditor.

Passed by the Village Board of the Village of Georgetown, Idaho, and approved by the Chairman thereof this 27th day of July, 1956.
