Ordinance #19: Irrigation Right-of-Way

ORDINANCE #19

AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO EAST GEORGETOWN IRRIGATION CO. INC., THE RIGHT TO DIG, LAY AND MAINTAIN A WATER PIPELINE IN AND ALONG CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF GEORGETOWN, IDAHO.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Georgetown, State of Idaho.–

SECTION I

That there is hereby granted to the East Georgetown Water Co., Inc., a corporation, its successors and assigns, the right to place and maintain a water pipeline system in and along the entire distance of Fourth and Hayes Street within the corporate limits of said Village for the purpose of supplying to the citizens of said Village water for culinary and domestic purposes.

SECTION II

The right hereby granted shall not be exclusive, but the Board hereby reserves the power to grant to others a like right-of-way.

All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
