THIS ORDINANCE HAS BEEN REPEALED BY ORDINANCE #91

ORDINANCE #13

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR VILLAGE ROAD TAX.

BE IT ORDAINED BY the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Georgetown, Idaho:

SECTION I

That each able-bodied man residing in said Village, between the ages of 21 and 50 years, be required to do two days on the streets and alleys, by himself or satisfactory substitute, to proper officer, between the dates of April 1st and the 1st day of September.

SECTION II

Be it further provided that any personal property belonging to the person refusing to perform such labor, may be seized and sold according to the laws of Idaho.

SECTION III

It is also provided that any person failing to do such work shall pay $1.00 per day for the first ten days after such failure, to be collected according to the laws of Idaho in such cases.
