Ordinance #10: Salaries and Wages (and Amendment)

ORDINANCE #10

AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES OF OFFICERS OF THE VILLAGE OF GEORGETOWN, IDAHO.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Chairman and Board of the Village of Georgetown, Idaho.

SECTION I

That the police shall receive for his services as such the fees allowed by the laws of Idaho to constables for similar services; the same to be paid as costs against the losing party.

SECTION II

The Village Clerk shall receive not more than 10 cents no less than 5 cents per 100 words for his services, as the Board shall determine.

SECTION III

The police  judge shall receive for his services as such, the fees allowed by the Laws of Idaho to Justices of the Peace for similar services; the same to be paid as cost by the losing party.

SECTION IV

The officers shall receive 50% of all impounding fees.

SECTION V

The road supervisor shall receive $2.50 per day for each days services.

SECTION VI

The number of teams shall be no less than 10, except in cases of emergency.

ORDINANCE #10 OF GEORGETOWN, IDAHO

COMPENSATION OF CITY COUNCIL AND CLERK

WHEREAS the duties of the Mayor and Councilmen of the City require the attendance at various meetings on a city and county level and other duties involving time and expense which is not compensated for as regularly reimbursable work for the City, it is deemed that the Mayor and Councilmen should receive a nominal salary as compensation for said activities; and whereas a City Clerk is hired to handle the money, keep the records, and do other clerical work; therefore be it ordained by the Mayor and council of the City of Georgetown, Idaho:

SECTION I

A salary of $15.00 per month for the Mayor and $10.00 per month for each member of the Council is hereby established beginning with the month of February 1973.

SECTION II

A salary shall be paid to the City Clerk commensurate with the duties performed and shall be revised by the City Council from time to time as necessary according to the duties performed and prevailing economic conditions.

SECTION III

The currently existing Ordinance #10, which is undated, is hereby repealed and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.

AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES OF OFFICERS OF THE     VILLAGE OF GEORGETOWN, IDAHO.

A salary of $100.00 per month for Mayor and $50.00 per month for each member of the Council is hereby established beginning with the month of September 1990.

SECTION II

SECTION III
